## Who it’s for

- You are learning to skate at the rink and need a boot that supports the ankle steadily.
- You skate recreationally, including longer sessions, and a warm lining matters to you.
- You prefer classic white/silver figure skates to sporty, colourful models.

## When to choose something else

- You train jumps at a higher level — this model is designed for beginner and intermediate skaters, and you will find more options in the [figure skates](https://bogdanca.pl/en/ice-skates/figure) category.
- You are buying for a child who is growing fast — see [kids’ ice skates](https://bogdanca.pl/en/ice-skates/kids).

## Key features

- **Reinforced upper with flex notch** — The reinforcement at the ankle stabilises the foot, and the flex notch zones let the ankle bend freely in a squat.
- **Warm lining** — Synthetic fur, velour and double-density foam keep the warmth in at the rink and wrap the foot softly.
- **Hook lacing** — Lets you set a different tension in different zones of the boot: looser over the toes, tighter at the ankle.
- **Stainless steel blades** — Stainless steel resists corrosion, so the blades are easier to keep in good condition.
- **PVC sole** — Easy to maintain: just wipe it after skating.
- **A brand from the Rollerblade group** — Bladerunner belongs to Rollerblade, has been around since 1987 and makes equipment for beginners and recreational skaters.
