## Who it’s for

- Your child is only just starting to skate or skates recreationally and needs warm skates that keep up with a growing foot.
- Instead of hiring skates at the rink, you want your own, fitted to your child’s foot.
- You are choosing skates with a figure blade for your child, not a hockey one.

## When to choose something else

- Your child trains hockey in a team — choose [hockey skates](https://bogdanca.pl/en/ice-skates/hockey).
- You prefer a blade with a hockey profile — the [Micro XT Ice black/lime](https://bogdanca.pl/en/bladerunner-micro-xt-ice-kids-adjustable-ice-skates-black-lime.html) version has one.

## Key features

- **Push-button adjustment across 4 sizes** — You change the size with a button, so the skates grow with your child’s foot.
- **Warm lining** — Foam, Thinsulate insulation and synthetic fur give warmth from the first wear.
- **Micro shell** — Keeps the foot in the correct position and stabilises the ankle.
- **Three fastening systems** — The buckle, the 45° strap and the laces let you tighten the boot separately in several places.
- **Stainless steel figure blade** — Hardened stainless steel of the figure type ensures smooth skating.

## Choosing your size

The skates are adjustable, so the size is given as a range. Measure your child’s foot from the heel to the tip of the longest toe and choose the size whose insole length range includes this value.

Micro XT Ice size chart: S — EU 29–34, insole 18.5–21.5 cm; M — EU 32–37, insole 20.5–23.5 cm; L — EU 36–40, insole 22.5–25.5 cm. The ranges overlap. If the foot fits into two, take the larger size and set it with the adjustment.

## Questions and answers

### Do the skates grow with the child?

Yes. The push-button adjustment covers four sizes, so the skates can be fitted to a growing foot.

### Are the skates ready to use straight out of the box?

No. New skates are not sharpened and must be professionally sharpened before the first skate. We can do the sharpening in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

### How does this version differ from the black/lime one?

In colour and blade. This version has a figure blade and a black/turquoise colour, while the [black/lime version](https://bogdanca.pl/en/bladerunner-micro-xt-ice-kids-adjustable-ice-skates-black-lime.html) has a blade with a hockey profile.

### Are they suitable for a child who is only just starting?

Yes. This is a model for beginner and recreational skaters, with a warm lining and a shell that stabilises the ankle.

### Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return). The buyer covers the return shipping, and a size exchange means a return and a new order.
