## Who it’s for

- Your child is aged 7–10, is starting to play hockey or trains at a club and needs a helmet with a cage in one set.
- You want a helmet that you can fit to your child's head without tools, within a circumference range of 52.5–57 cm.
- A light, ventilated shell matters to you so that your child doesn't tire during long training sessions.

## When to choose something else

- Your child's head circumference is over 57 cm — see the [Tacks 70 Combo Senior](https://bogdanca.pl/en/ccm-tacks-70-combo-senior-hockey-helmet.html) version.
- The head circumference is under 52.5 cm — choose a smaller helmet among [hockey helmets](https://bogdanca.pl/en/hockey/helmets).

## Key features

- **FM70 cage** — A durable, light cage protects the face and doesn't restrict visibility; the helmet is sold together with it.
- **Dual-density foam** — It absorbs impacts and increases safety at training and in matches.
- **FlipClip adjustment** — You set the head circumference within 52.5–57 cm without tools; the chin buckle and the cage adjustment make it easier to put on and take off.
- **Light PE shell** — It dissipates the force of impacts while weighing little, so your child copes with a long training session more comfortably.
- **Vents** — They let air into the helmet, so the head doesn't overheat as quickly.
- **Ergonomic ear guards** — They help keep the helmet stable on the head when skating and playing.

## Choosing your size

You choose the helmet by head circumference, not by age: this model covers 52.5–57 cm, and the FlipClip system lets you fine-tune the fit without tools. Measure the circumference with a tailor's tape measure above the eyebrows, at the widest point at the back of the head.

The helmet should sit securely and not slide down over the forehead when your child nods. You can try hockey helmets on in our shops in Poznań and Wrocław; ask about the availability of this model.
