## Who it’s for

- Your child is 3–7 and is starting hockey training or learning to skate in a helmet with full face protection.
- You want to buy the helmet and the cage as one set, without choosing a face guard separately.
- Your child is growing, so you need adjustment you can set in the changing room without a screwdriver — within 49–53.5 cm.

## When to choose something else

- Your child’s head circumference is over 53.5 cm — the next size up is the [Tacks 70 Combo Junior](https://bogdanca.pl/en/ccm-tacks-70-combo-junior-hockey-helmet.html).
- You are buying a helmet for an adult — see the [Tacks 70 Combo Senior](https://bogdanca.pl/en/ccm-tacks-70-combo-senior-hockey-helmet.html).

## Key features

- **FM70 cage included** — The silver cage is light and durable, protects the whole face and does not limit the field of view; the helmet is ready to use without buying a face guard.
- **Double-density foam** — It cushions impacts from falls on the ice and collisions with the boards.
- **FlipClip adjustment** — You set the circumference without tools in a few seconds, so the helmet can be adjusted even just before going on the ice.
- **High-density PE shell** — It spreads the energy of an impact and weighs little, which takes the strain off a young player’s neck.
- **Ventilation openings** — Air circulates under the shell, so the head overheats less during training.
- **Ear guards and chin buckle** — The ear guards adapt to the shape of the child’s head, and the comfortable buckle and adjustable cage make the helmet quicker to put on and take off.

## Choosing your size

Choose the helmet by head circumference, not by age: this model covers 49–53.5 cm, and the FlipClip system lets you fine-tune the fit without tools. Measure the circumference with a tailor’s tape above the eyebrows, at the widest point at the back of the head.

The helmet should sit firmly and not slide down onto the forehead when the child nods. You can try on hockey helmets with your child in our shops in Poznań and Wrocław; ask about availability of this model.
