## Who it’s for

- You play street hockey or hockey on a roller rink with friends once or twice a week and want skates built for hockey, not for recreational skating.
- You change surfaces: concrete or asphalt one time, tartan or a sports hall another — the 80 mm / 82A wheels are intended for all of these.
- You are starting to play roller hockey or coming back to the game after a break and are looking for sensibly equipped gear for regular training.

## When to choose something else

- You play competitively several times a week — this model was made with recreational and semi-amateur players in mind.
- You are looking for skates for long routes or city skating — see [fitness skates](https://bogdanca.pl/en/inline-skates/fitness) and [urban and freeskate skates](https://bogdanca.pl/en/inline-skates/urban-freeskate).

## Key features

- **3D Injected Boot** — The injection-moulded shell holds the foot from the first ride, without a long breaking-in of the boot.
- **Flex index 115** — It defines how firmly the boot supports the foot and ankle; at this value skating is stable and the push-off is secure.
- **Aluminium Dual FastFrame** — It is light and quickly transfers the movement of the foot to the wheels, which you feel in starts and sudden turns.
- **Konixx 80 mm / 82A wheels** — The soft 82A compound grips well in a sports hall and on tartan; on rough concrete and asphalt it rolls, but wears faster than harder wheels.
- **Rizon ABEC 5 bearings** — They give smooth rolling even at the lower pace typical of recreational play.
- **Tongue with 7 mm foam and HD Microfiber lining** — The thick foam protects the front of the foot from chafing, and the microfibre wicks away moisture and keeps its durability.

## Choosing your size

The skates have CCM sizing. According to the manufacturer's chart, size 7 is a 26.0 cm foot (EU 42), 8 — 26.8 cm (EU 43), 9 — 27.7 cm (EU 44.5), 10 — 28.5 cm (EU 45.5), 11 — 29.4 cm (EU 47) and 12 — 30.2 cm (EU 48). The CCM size is one and a half sizes smaller than the US shoe size: CCM 7 corresponds to US 8.5 and UK 7.5.

Measure your foot from the heel to the longest toe, in the socks you play in. If you fall between sizes, choose the larger one.

## Questions and answers

### How do I choose the size of the CCM Tacks 9350 skates?

Measure your foot in centimetres and compare it with the CCM chart: 26.0 cm is size 7 (EU 42), 26.8 cm — 8 (EU 43), 27.7 cm — 9 (EU 44.5). If you fall between sizes, take the larger one.

### Are these skates suitable for asphalt?

Yes. The Konixx 80 mm / 82A wheels are intended for concrete, asphalt and a sports hall. On rough asphalt, however, the soft compound wears faster than on a smooth surface.

### What does Senior in the name mean?

It is the age category for adults and teenagers with a large foot. The chart for this model covers CCM sizes 7–12, that is EU 42–48.

### Is this a good model for league play?

Rather not. The Tacks 9350 Senior were made for recreational and semi-amateur players who skate 1–2 times a week.

### Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract. The buyer covers the return shipping, and exchanging for another size means a return and a new order.
