## Who it’s for

- You are buying skates for a child who is starting to train hockey or wants to skate hockey-style.
- You are looking for a boot that holds a young player's foot steadily and does not chafe on longer sessions.
- You want a CCM model from the Tacks series in junior sizes, in the Junior Regular cut.

## When to choose something else

- The player has outgrown junior sizes — see [AS-550 INT REG](https://bogdanca.pl/en/ccm-tacks-as-550-int-reg-hockey-skates.html).
- You are looking for skates for an adult — choose the SR category among the [hockey skates](https://bogdanca.pl/en/ice-skates/hockey).

## Key features

- **3D Injected Boot** — The injection-moulded construction of the boot adapts to the child's foot and supports it anatomically.
- **Core with a hardness of 115** — A light, stiff body gives stability and control of the skate in turns and stops.
- **HD Microfiber liner** — An interior resistant to wear and that keeps the warmth in, so the foot does not get cold at the rink.
- **5 mm Felt Tongue** — Felt with cushioning foam protects the instep from the pressure of the laces.
- **CCM Speedblade blade on a raised holder** — A stainless steel blade, and the higher holder makes manoeuvres easier.
- **Junior Regular cut** — A fit for younger players with a standard-width foot.

## Choosing your size

Measure your child's foot in centimetres, from the heel to the end of the longest toe, and choose a size with an insole length close to that result. The insole length is given for each size, next to the CCM number and the EU equivalent. Hockey skates have their own scale, so do not carry over the number of your everyday shoes one to one.

Children grow quickly, but a boot that is too big does not hold the ankle. If in doubt, try the skates on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

## Questions and answers

### What does JR in the name mean?

JR is junior, the category for children and young people. Older players who have outgrown junior sizes are covered by the INT category.

### Are the skates sharpened and ready to use?

No. New skates are not sharpened at the factory, so they must be sharpened before the first outing. You can choose sharpening when ordering or have it done in the shop.

### Who are these skates for?

For children and young people who are starting hockey or recreational skating in the hockey style. The core with a hardness of 115 keeps the foot steady.

### How do I choose the size for my child?

Measure your child's foot in centimetres and choose the size with an insole length close to the result. Hockey skates have their own scale, so do not carry over the number of your everyday shoes.

### Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason, and the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging a size means a return and a new order.
