# CCM Tacks AS-VI Pro Senior hockey stick

The CCM Tacks AS-VI Pro Senior hockey stick is an adult-size stick. You choose the flex, the blade curve and the side on the product page. A lower flex makes the shaft easier for lighter players to flex, and the blade curve can be a middle one (e.g. P29), one shifted towards the toe, or an intermediate one (e.g. P90TM) — between the middle profile and the toe profile.

## Who it’s for

- You know which hand you hold lower on the shaft, and you choose a left or a right-hand stick on the product page.
- You are a player in the senior category and you match the flex to your body weight — a lighter player will choose a lower one, which flexes when shooting without putting all your force into it.
- You want to match the blade curve to your game — from a middle one to one shifted towards the toe, which brings the puck closer to the end of the blade in a wrist shot.

## When to choose something else

- You are not sure which side you play — first check which hand ends up lower on the shaft, because you choose the side on the product page; you will find other sticks among the [hockey sticks](https://bogdanca.pl/en/hockey/sticks).
- You are a heavier, strong player — a low flex may flex too much; choose a higher stiffness.

## Key features

- **Flex to choose** — The number defines the stiffness of the shaft: the lower it is, the easier it is to flex. A lower flex suits lighter players, a higher one heavier players and hard shooters. You choose the flex on the product page.
- **Blade curve to choose** — The curve is the place where the blade bends: from a middle one (e.g. P29) to one shifted towards the toe. An intermediate curve, such as P90TM, is a compromise between a versatile profile and a typical shooting one. You choose the curve on the product page.
- **Senior size (SR)** — Shaft length and thickness designed for adults; you fit the stick to your height by cutting down the end.

## Choosing your size

The side of the stick is the hand you hold lower on the shaft: in a left-hand stick it is the left hand, in a right-hand stick the right. Pick up the stick the way that feels natural and see which hand ends up lower; it is not always the hand you write with.

Check the length in skates: a stick stood upright in front of you, with the toe of the blade on the ground, should reach roughly to your chin. A shaft that is too long is cut down from the top; once shortened, the stick plays stiffer.

Choose the flex to match your body weight and strength. A popular rule says the flex number is roughly half the player's weight in pounds, so a player weighing 65–70 kg looks for a flex of around 75. You choose the flex, the blade curve and the side on the product page.

## Questions and answers

### Which side of the stick should I choose — left or right?

The side of your lower hand: a left-hand stick means your left hand lower on the shaft, a right-hand stick your right. It does not depend on which hand you write with. You choose the side on the product page.

### Can I return the stick if it does not suit me?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason; the buyer covers the return shipping. Before you cut the shaft down, make sure the side, flex and length are right.

### Can I collect the stick in person?

Yes, free of charge in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław. There you can pick up the stick and check the length and the side.
