# FR Skates AXS Brake Upper Screw two-piece steel brake axle, black

The FR Skates AXS Brake Upper Screw steel axle is a two-piece, black axle for fixing the brake. You screw its two parts together from opposite sides, which lets you tighten the fixing from both sides. It is a different construction from the one-piece AXS Brake Axle Set, so choose according to what you have from the factory in your skates.

## Who it’s for

- The AXS brake in your skates is held by a two-piece axle and one of its parts has gone missing.
- The brake axle has a worn key socket and can no longer be tightened properly.

## When to choose something else

- You have a one-piece brake axle with two screws — then see the [AXS Brake Axle Set](https://bogdanca.pl/en/fr-skates-axs-brake-axle-set-one-piece-steel-brake-axle-with-two-screws-black.html).

## Key features

- **Two-piece construction** — Two parts screwed together from opposite sides can be tightened from both sides, so the brake does not work loose.
- **Steel** — A durable material that withstands the pressure of braking and repeated unscrewing.
- **AXS version** — A replacement for skates in which the AXS brake is fixed with a two-piece axle.
