# FR Skates Race Ratchet Buckle ratchet clasp for inline skate buckles

The FR Skates Race Ratchet Buckle clasp is a replacement part with a ratchet mechanism that holds the buckle strap fastened on the chosen tooth. You replace it when the fastener skips, will not close fully or has broken, and the rest of the buckle is in working order. The surest way to choose the right one is to bring the old clasp or the whole skate to our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

## Who it’s for

- The strap in your buckle skips when you tighten it harder and does not hold the set tightness.
- The clasp lever broke in a fall or after hitting a kerb.

## When to choose something else

- Your old clasp has a different shape — compare it with the [Logo Ratchet Buckle](https://bogdanca.pl/en/fr-skates-logo-ratchet-buckle-ratchet-clasp-for-inline-skate-buckles.html) and [Spider Ratchet Buckle](https://bogdanca.pl/en/fr-skates-spider-ratchet-buckle-ratchet-clasp-for-inline-skate-buckles.html) models.

## Key features

- **Ratchet** — Each click of the lever tightens the strap by one tooth, and the lock stops it from slipping back while you skate.
- **Replacing just the fastener** — You repair the buckle without replacing the strap — you buy only the part that has worn out.
