# K2 FIT 80 mm Boa inline skates

The K2 FIT 80 mm Boa are men's fitness skates with a softboot and a Stability Plus Cuff. Instead of laces they have the BOA system: a steel cable tightened with a dial. They run on four 80 mm polyurethane wheels with ABEC 5 bearings, set in an F.B.I. composite frame. The brake is factory-fitted.

## Who it’s for

- You are buying your first skates and want them to be comfortable from the first outing, with a brake ready to use.
- You skate recreationally on paths and promenades and don't want to keep adjusting your laces.
- You want a light, breathable boot for longer rides on warm days.

## When to choose something else

- You want to skate dynamically around town and jump off kerbs — a hard shell holds your ankle more firmly; see [urban and freeskate skates](https://bogdanca.pl/en/inline-skates/urban-freeskate).

## Key features

- **BOA Fit System closure** — A steel cable instead of laces: you press the dial in and turn it until the boot holds your foot well, and if the cable is too tight you loosen it by turning the other way. You can take the skates off in a few seconds.
- **Soft boot with a Stability Plus Cuff** — The softboot is breathable and lighter than skates with a full composite shell, and the minimalist skeleton supports your foot where you need stability.
- **F.B.I. composite frame** — It absorbs more vibration than a frame of conventional construction, so skating on rough asphalt tires your feet less.
- **80 mm wheels and ABEC 5 bearings** — A diameter of 80 mm is a compromise between stability and speed on paths; polyurethane wheels and ABEC 5 bearings are a set for recreation and fitness.
- **Factory-fitted brake** — You can brake from your very first ride. Once you have mastered other braking techniques, you can remove the brake.

## Choosing your size

Choose your size by foot length. Stand with your heel against a wall, mark the end of your longest toe and measure the distance in millimetres. Compare the result with the length given for each size; if your feet differ in length, go by the longer one.

BOA tightens the boot evenly, but it won't make a boot that is too big any smaller. If you fall between two sizes, try both on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

## Questions and answers

### Do the K2 FIT 80 Boa have laces?

No. The boot is fastened with the BOA system: a steel cable tightened with a dial. You press the dial in and turn it until the boot holds your foot well, and loosen it by turning the other way.

### Is the brake fitted?

Yes. The brake has been on the skate from new and you can remove it when you no longer need it.

### What is the difference between a soft boot and a hard shell?

A soft boot is lighter and more breathable, so it works well on longer, relaxed rides. A hard shell holds your ankle more firmly when skating dynamically around town.

### Are these good skates for a beginner?

Yes. The model is intended for beginners and intermediate skaters: it has a fitted brake, a comfortable soft boot and a quick closure.

### Can I return the skates if the size doesn't fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return); the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging for another size means returning the item and placing a new order.
