## Who it’s for

- You skate in the city and want a boot that supports the ankle stiffly and transfers the movement of the foot to the skate well.
- You go for recreational rides in the park or to fitness training, and comfort on longer rides matters to you.
- You are only starting out or have skated for years — this model is intended for both groups.

## When to choose something else

- You plan long routes at a high pace — [speed skates](https://bogdanca.pl/en/inline-skates/speed) are designed for that kind of skating.

## Key features

- **Hardshell hard shell** — The stiff boot supports the foot and ankle, and the movement goes straight to the skate, so it is easier to control turns and braking.
- **80 mm wheels and ILQ-9 Classic bearings** — This diameter is a compromise between manoeuvrability and speed in the city, and the bearings give the wheels a smooth turn.
- **Aluminium frame** — The stiff frame gives control over the skate and transfers the energy of the push-off well.
- **Intuition liner** — The inner boot shapes itself to the foot, which limits rubbing on longer rides.
- **Three closures: SpeedLace, buckle and velcro strap** — You tighten each zone separately: the front with the lace, the ankle with the buckle, the top of the cuff with the velcro strap.
- **Cuff stiffness adjustment (Flex)** — You can set how firmly the cuff supports the ankle, depending on your skating style.

## Choosing your size

Sizes are given in millimetres and in EU numbering. Measure your foot in mm (from the heel to the end of the longest toe) and compare it with the value in mm for the size you choose.

If you are on the border between two sizes, try both on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

## Questions and answers

### Are the K2 Grid 80 suitable for a beginner?

Yes. The model is intended for both beginners and advanced skaters. The hard shell holds the ankle firmly, which makes learning easier.

### What wheels do these skates have?

80 mm diameter wheels on ILQ-9 Classic bearings, mounted on an aluminium frame.

### How does a hardshell differ from a soft boot?

A hardshell has a hard shell that supports the foot and ankle stiffly. A soft boot is more breathable and flexible, but gives less control.

### Can I order the axles tightened with a torque wrench?

Yes. When ordering you can add a service of precise tightening of the axles and screws with a torque wrench, and a service of measuring the wheels and choosing spacers.

### Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract. The buyer covers the return shipping, and exchanging for another size means a return and a new order.
