## Who it’s for

- You skate mainly on smooth asphalt in the city and want wheels that roll well and wear down slowly.
- You need a hard boot that holds the ankle securely in quick turns and when avoiding obstacles.
- You like the contrast of clear wheels with a dark shell.

## When to choose something else

- You skate mainly on rough, patched asphalt and paving stones — hard X Firm wheels transmit vibration more; the [version with Hydrogen 85A wheels](https://bogdanca.pl/en/k2-grid-80-hydrogen-inline-skates.html) will be more comfortable.

## Key features

- **MPC Junk 80 mm wheels, X Firm hardness** — The very hard compound rolls well on smooth asphalt and wears down slowly, but transmits more vibration from an uneven surface and has less grip in the wet.
- **Hardshell hard shell** — The stiff boot holds the ankle steadily and transfers the movement of the foot straight to the skate, which helps when learning and in dynamic city skating.
- **Aluminium frame** — Light and stiff, so the energy of the push-off is not lost on a flexing frame, and the skate responds precisely to movement.
- **ILQ-9 Classic bearings** — They provide a smooth turn of the wheels in city and recreational skating.
- **Laces, ankle buckle and velcro strap** — You tighten the front of the boot with the lace, the ankle with the buckle, and the strap closes the whole — the foot does not shift in the boot, which limits chafing.
- **Ventilated shell** — It limits overheating of the foot when you skate for longer.

## Choosing your size

Sizes are given in EU numbering and in millimetres. Measure your foot in mm (from the heel to the end of the longest toe) and compare the result with the value in mm for the size you choose.

If you are on the border between two sizes, try both on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

## Questions and answers

### What does X Firm hardness mean?

It is the marking of a very hard compound on the MPC scale. Such a wheel rolls fast on smooth asphalt and lasts a long time, but absorbs vibration less well than soft wheels.

### How does this version differ from the K2 Grid 80 Hydrogen?

In the wheels. Here they are clear MPC Junk wheels of X Firm hardness; the [Hydrogen version](https://bogdanca.pl/en/k2-grid-80-hydrogen-inline-skates.html) has white Rollerblade 85A wheels, more universal for varied asphalt.

### Are the K2 Grid 80 suitable for a beginner?

Yes. The model is intended for both beginners and advanced skaters; the hard shell holds the ankle steadily, which makes learning easier.

### Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract; the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging for another size means a return and a new order.
