# Lazer Blade+ helmet

The Lazer Blade+ helmet is a versatile helmet for urban skating and cycling with the MIPS system, which limits the forces acting on the head in an impact. It has 22 vents and Advanced Rollsys adjustment all the way round, operated by a dial on top of the helmet. In the smaller sizes it weighs 260 g. You can fit a Lazer Aeroshell cover and a rear LED light to it.

## Who it’s for

- You skate around town or ride a bike and want a helmet with the MIPS system, not just foam with a shell.
- You find it hard to get a helmet to fit — here the band tightens evenly all the way round, and you also set the cradle vertically.
- You also ride in cold and rain: the Aeroshell cover closes some of the vents and shields your head from water.
- You come home after dark and want to mount an LED light on the back of the helmet.

## When to choose something else

- You mainly ride off-road and want a helmet with a peak — see the [Lazer Chiru](https://bogdanca.pl/en/lazer-chiru-helmet-black-orange.html).
- You play hockey — for the ice and the court you need a [hockey helmet](https://bogdanca.pl/en/hockey/helmets).

## Key features

- **MIPS system** — The inner liner is separated from the outer shell, so less force and rotational load is passed to the head on impact. This reduces the risk of a serious injury.
- **Advanced Rollsys adjustment** — A dial on top of the helmet tightens the fitting all the way round the head, not just at the back, so the pressure is spread evenly.
- **Vertically adjustable cradle** — You set the height at which the cradle holds the back of the head, and the helmet stops wobbling.
- **22 vents** — They cool your head when riding in the heat and also lower the helmet’s weight — in the smaller sizes it is 260 g.
- **Compatible with the Lazer Aeroshell cover** — The cover closes some of the vents: it reduces air resistance and protects against rain.
- **Space for a rear LED light** — With the light mounted, you are more visible on the road at dusk and at night.

## Choosing your size

Choose the helmet by head circumference. Measure it with a tailor’s tape just above the eyebrows and across the widest point at the back, and compare the result with the range for the chosen size.

Advanced Rollsys fine-tunes the circumference and you can set the cradle vertically, but adjustment does not replace a good size: the helmet should sit level and not slide down onto either the forehead or the back of the neck. If you are unsure, try it on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

## Questions and answers

### Is the Lazer Blade+ helmet suitable for skating?

Yes. It is a helmet for skating and cycling, and its look suits urban skates.

### What does the MIPS system do?

It limits the forces acting on the head in an impact. The liner inside the helmet is separated from the shell, so it does not pass the full load on to the head.

### How is this helmet adjusted?

With a dial on top of the helmet. The Advanced Rollsys system changes the circumference along the whole length of the band, and you can also set the cradle at the back vertically.

### What is the Aeroshell cover for?

It closes some of the vents. It reduces air resistance and protects the head from rain; the Blade+ helmet is designed to take it.

### Can I return the helmet if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return). The buyer covers the return shipping, and exchanging a size means a return and a new order.
