## Who it’s for

- Your light-up wheels have stopped lighting up although the bearings and the wheels themselves are fine — the spacer may have lost its magnetism or been damaged.
- A spacer went missing when you changed the bearings and you are short one or several.
- You are moving light-up wheels to skates with 8 mm axles and are putting together spacers for all the wheels.

## When to choose something else

- You have light-up wheels of 110 or 125 mm — choose the [8 mm version for 110/125 mm wheels](https://bogdanca.pl/en/luminous-magnetic-spacer-8-mm-for-light-up-wheels-110-125-mm.html).
- You skate on ordinary wheels without LEDs — a magnetic spacer does nothing for them, [8 mm aluminium spacers](https://bogdanca.pl/en/rollerblade-8-mm-aluminium-spacers-silver-8-pcs.html) are enough.

## Key features

- **Power without batteries** — The magnetic field of the spacer generates current as the wheel turns, which lights the LEDs — you charge and replace nothing.
- **For 8 mm axles** — Fits skates with 8 mm axles. With 6 mm bolts, common on kids' models and K2 skates, you also need an 8/6 mm reducing spacer.
- **Compatible with several wheel brands** — Works with Luminous, Fothon LED, Powerslide Neons and Rollerblade Moonbeam light-up wheels, so you do not have to look for parts separately for each brand.
- **For 608 bearings** — Works with 608 bearings, the most common ones in inline skates and scooters.
- **Sold individually** — You buy exactly as many as you are missing — one lost spacer or eight for a full set.

## Questions and answers

### How many spacers do I need?

Eight for a pair of four-wheel skates — one for each light-up wheel. The spacer is sold individually, so add to your basket as many as the number of wheels you want to power.

### Does the spacer itself light up?

No. The spacer produces a magnetic field, and the LEDs in the wheel light up.

### My skates have 6 mm axles — will the spacer fit?

Not directly. The spacer is for an 8 mm axle; with 6 mm bolts you also need an 8/6 mm reducing spacer.

### How do I fit the spacer?

Put it between the two bearings in the wheel so that it sits exactly in the middle, then slide the axle through and tighten the wheel. Without a spacer, or with one inserted crookedly, the LEDs will not light up.

### My wheels have stopped lighting up — is the spacer to blame?

Possibly, if the bearings and wheels are in good order. The spacer may have been damaged, demagnetised or lost when you changed the bearings — if so, replace it with a new one.
