## Who it’s for

- You are starting to skate or skate recreationally and want a comfortable, soft boot.
- You have no patience for laces — you can tighten and loosen the BOA dial at any moment.
- You brake more confidently with your left leg — the brake can be moved to the left skate.

## When to choose something else

- You need a hard shell for fast city skating — see the [Maxxum Edge 90 W](https://bogdanca.pl/en/rollerblade-maxxum-edge-90-w-inline-skates-pink-navy.html).
- You plan jumps and skating on kerbs — see [urban and freeskate skates](https://bogdanca.pl/en/inline-skates/urban-freeskate).

## Key features

- **Soft softboot-type boot** — Comfortable from the first ride and supports the foot well — a good choice when comfort matters more to you than stiffness.
- **BOA system** — You tighten the dial to the pressure you want and that is it; when it gets too tight, you can easily loosen it. There are no laces.
- **84 mm / 84A wheels** — Larger than 80 mm wheels, so they roll further from a single push. 84A hardness keeps grip well and absorbs vibration.
- **Aluminium frame and SG7 bearings** — A stiff frame stabilises the ride, and the bearings give smooth rolling.
- **Anatomical ventilated liner** — Contoured to the foot and breathable, so it works well on long outings.
- **Brake to remove or move** — You can remove it or move it to the left skate if you brake more confidently with that leg.

## Choosing your size

This is a women's model. Choose your size by foot length: measure it from the heel to the longest toe in millimetres, ideally in the evening and in the sock you will skate in, and compare the result with the insole length given for the size.

The BOA dial tightens the boot evenly, but it will not make an oversized boot smaller. If you fall between two sizes, try the skates on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

## Questions and answers

### Is the Macroblade 84 Boa W suitable for a beginner?

Yes. These are skates for women who are starting to skate or skate recreationally: the soft boot is comfortable from the first ride, and you have the brake in place.

### How does the BOA fastening work?

You tighten the dial and the cable pulls the boot to the foot. To loosen it, you turn the dial the other way; there are no laces.

### Can the brake be moved to the left skate?

Yes. The brake can be removed or moved to the left skate. If you do not want to do it yourself, we will help with servicing in Poznań or Wrocław.

### What does softboot mean?

It is a soft boot instead of a hard plastic shell. It is more comfortable for recreational skating, but less stiff than skates with a hard boot.

### What should I do if the size does not fit?

You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return), and the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging a size means a return and a new order.
