# Rollerblade Twister 90R inline skates

The Rollerblade Twister 90R are urban skates for advanced skaters: a hard Twister shell, a 274 mm 3&4WD aluminium frame and Hydrogen 90 mm / 85A wheels on ILQ-9 bearings. The factory 4 × 90 mm layout has a natural rocker, because the second and third axles are lowered. The same frame can be switched to a flat 3 × 110 mm layout. A brake is included.

## Who it’s for

- You skate confidently on freeskate skates and want larger wheels without losing manoeuvrability.
- You are drawn to wizard skating: long carved arcs on the edges, transitions and smooth skating around town on big wheels.
- You want one frame for two layouts — 4 × 90 mm with a rocker for everyday and 3 × 110 mm when speed counts.

## When to choose something else

- You are only learning to skate — a rocker and 90 mm wheels need a mastered sense of balance. See [skates for beginners](https://bogdanca.pl/en/inline-skates/beginners).
- You prefer the classic, flat 4 × 80 mm layout for the city and slalom — that is the [Twister XT](https://bogdanca.pl/en/rollerblade-twister-xt-inline-skates-black-sand.html).

## Key features

- **3&4WD frame 274 mm** — One frame, two layouts: four 90 mm wheels or three 110 mm wheels. The 90 mm wheels are fitted from the factory.
- **Natural Rocker in the 4 × 90 mm layout** — The second and third axles are lowered, so the skate turns tightly like a slalom skate, while the big wheels further out give stability.
- **Twister shell with Anti-Torsion Box** — A stiff shell with aluminium plates reinforcing the connection between the boot and the frame. The push-off force goes into the wheels, not into twisting the boot.
- **Hydrogen 90 mm / 85A wheels** — Made in the USA. The larger diameter rolls over bumps more easily and holds speed for longer.
- **Skate Liner Plus with PSI Plus insole** — An anatomical inner boot with a V-cut and a Comfort Flex tongue.
- **Footboard Sizer and Shock Eraser** — A shim adjusts the volume of the boot by half a size, and the absorber under the heel damps vibration on urban bumps.

## Choosing your size

The Twister 90R comes in double sizes: one shell covers two adjacent numbers, and the volume of the boot is adjusted by half a size with the Footboard Sizer shim.

Measure your foot under load, i.e. standing, and add about 0.5 cm of room. According to the manufacturer's chart, size 250–255 mm (EU 39–40) is for a foot of 24.6–25.5 cm, and 270–275 mm (EU 42–42.5) for a foot of 26.6–27.5 cm.

If you fall on the boundary of two sizes and have a wide foot or a high instep, take the larger one.

## In the box

## Questions and answers

### Are the Twister 90R suitable as first skates?

No. This is a model for people who already skate confidently: a rocker and 90 mm wheels need a mastered sense of balance. A flat 4 × 80 mm layout is easier to start with.

### What does the rocker give in the 4 × 90 mm layout?

Greater manoeuvrability. The second and third axles are lowered, so the skate turns tighter, while the big wheels keep stability and speed.

### Can I skate on three 110 mm wheels?

Yes, on the same frame. The 3 × 110 mm layout is flat and faster; from the factory the skates come with four 90 mm wheels fitted.

### Is the brake included?

Yes. The brake and an extra pair of black laces are included.
