## Who it’s for

- You train on skates for hours in the sun and want your foot in the boot to be dry.
- You race in summer events and need a light sock that does not squeeze the calf.
- You prefer dark socks that go with a black, graphite or grey outfit.

## When to choose something else

- You are looking for compression socks — in the One Light the compression works only locally, and the compression model is the [UYN Run Compression Fly](https://bogdanca.pl/en/uyn-run-compression-fly-women-s-socks-grey-coral.html).
- You skate on cool days and need a warm sock — this model is light and has 3D ventilation, so it does not warm.

## Key features

- **ZEROCUFF — no classic cuff** — The sock does not squeeze the calf, so it does not hinder circulation during hours of skating.
- **COOL AIR FLOW** — 3D ventilation carries away heat and moisture, so the foot in a closed skate boot stays dry and fresh.
- **TARGET COMPRESSION BANDAGE** — Compression only where it matters most, and the rest of the sock does not squeeze.
- **PRESHOCK SHIELD** — Achilles tendon protection dampens micro-shocks where the back of the boot rests.
- **TEXLYTE NANO** — A very light, hypoallergenic fibre, friendly to sensitive skin.
- **NATEX and ZERODOR** — Light, quick-drying NATEX yarn and fibres with silver ions protect against bacteria and odour — even after many washes.

## Choosing your size

Sizes are ranges of EU shoe numbers — choose the one that includes the size of the shoes you wear every day. A technical sock should lie on the foot without wrinkles, because a crease in a skate boot quickly causes chafing, so do not size up “just in case”. If your size falls on the border between ranges, ask in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

## Questions and answers

### Will these socks work in skates?

Yes. They are light, ventilated and protect the Achilles tendon, which the back of the skate boot rests against. They give the most on long training sessions in the sun.

### Does the top of the sock press on the calf?

No. The ZEROCUFF construction has no classic cuff, and the compression works only in selected zones.

### What are they made of?

86% polyamide, 8% polypropylene and 6% elastane. NATEX yarn dries quickly, and ZERODOR with silver ions neutralises odour and limits bacteria.

### How do they differ from the men’s UYN Cycling One Light?

This is the women’s version with its own size split. The material composition and main technologies — ZEROCUFF, COOL AIR FLOW, PRESHOCK SHIELD — are the same as in the [men’s version](https://bogdanca.pl/en/uyn-cycling-one-light-men-s-socks-black-blue.html).

### Can I return the socks if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return); the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging a size means a return and a new order.
