Care and servicing

Apply the oil to a clean, dry bearing — best after removing the shield, straight onto the balls — and spin the wheel so it spreads. Wipe off the excess, because it collects dust.

How much oil should I put on one bearing?

One drop. That is enough for many hours of skating, and excess only collects dust and sand.

Is it suitable for my bearings?

Yes. Bogdanca lubricant can be used on all kinds of bearings.

Do I need to clean the bearings before lubricating?

Yes, if they are dirty. Oil applied over sand and old grease traps the dirt inside, so first clean and dry the bearings, and only then lubricate them.

Will the lubricant silence squeaking wheels?

Yes, if dry bearings are squeaking — the oil reduces friction and removes squeaks and creaking. A damaged bearing has to be replaced, though.
