Who it’s for

  • You practise shooting and want a puck that weighs and bounces like a match puck.
  • You run sessions at a club or a school and are topping up your stock of pucks, which go missing behind the boards and in the netting.
  • You practise puck handling and passing on the ice and want a predictable path of the puck after a pass.

When to choose something else

  • You play roller hockey on asphalt or tiles — a rubber puck for ice slows down and bounces on that kind of surface; look for inline pucks in the hockey accessories section.

Key features

IIHF certificate
The puck meets the standards of the International Ice Hockey Federation, so you train with the kind of puck used in official matches.
Match weight of 163 g
The puck puts the same resistance on the stick as in a match, so the feel for the shot and the pass that you develop in training carries over to the game.
Standard 3 × 1 inch size
The puck sits on the blade just like a match puck, so you practise receiving and carrying without having to readjust before a match.
Crack-resistant rubber
It withstands hard stick hits and regular training, which makes it a good club and school puck that takes a lot of shots.
Proper bounces and stable trajectory
The puck behaves on the ice as in a match, so you practise shots and passes in conditions close to the game.

Care and servicing

Before training you can chill the pucks in the freezer — cold rubber bounces less off the ice and the stick, so the puck glides more smoothly.

Questions and answers

Is the CCM Official Senior puck suitable for matches?

Yes. It has an IIHF certificate, a weight of 163 g and dimensions of 3 × 1 inch (7.62 × 2.54 cm), i.e. the parameters of a match puck.

What does Senior in the name mean?

The full match weight of 163 g. It is a puck for senior players, coaches and clubs; lighter training pucks are made for the youngest players.

Is it suitable for roller hockey?

It is not intended for it. It is a rubber puck for play on ice; on asphalt and inline tiles it slows down and bounces, so roller hockey uses pucks made for that surface.

Will it withstand intensive club training?

Yes. The rubber resists cracking and hard stick hits, so the puck works well at regular sessions of hockey clubs and schools.

Can I collect the pucks in person?

Yes, free of charge in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław. We usually ship a product that is available in the shop within 1 working day.
