In brief

The CCM Tacks AS-570 Senior hockey stick is an adult stick from the Tacks line. You choose the flex, the blade curve and the side on the product page. If you do not have a favourite set-up yet, a safe starting point is the middle of senior stiffness and a middle blade curve, which favours neither passes nor shots. You choose the side, left or right, when you order.

Brand: CCM
Model: Tacks AS-570
Age category: senior (SR)
Flex: to choose on the product page
Blade curve: to choose (e.g. P28, P29 — depending on the delivery)
Side: left or right — your choice

Who it’s for

You play in the senior category and match the flex to your body weight and strength — you choose it on the product page.
You do not have a favourite curve yet or want an all-round profile: a middle curve (e.g. P29) is versatile, and you choose the curve on the product page.
You need a left or a right-hand stick — you choose the side when you order.

When to choose something else

You are buying for a child or a lighter teenager — a senior stick will be too long and too stiff; you will find smaller sizes among the hockey sticks.

Key features

Flex to choose: The number defines the stiffness of the shaft: the higher it is, the harder it is to flex. You match the flex to your body weight and strength and choose it on the product page.
Blade curve to choose: The curve is the place where the blade bends: a middle curve (e.g. P29) is a versatile profile for stickhandling, passes and shots. You choose the curve on the product page.
Senior size (SR): Shaft length and thickness designed for adults; you fit the stick to your height by cutting down the end.

Care and servicing

Wrap the blade with hockey tape before playing — it protects it from wear and moisture, and the puck stays on it better. After training, wipe the stick dry and do not leave it in a wet bag.

Questions and answers

How do I tell whether I need a left or a right-hand stick?

What counts is the lower hand on the shaft: left lower means a left-hand stick, right lower a right-hand one. Pick up the stick the way that feels comfortable and see which hand is lower.

Can I return the stick if it does not suit me?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason; the buyer covers the return shipping. Before you cut the shaft down, make sure the side, flex and length are right.

Can I collect the stick in person?

Yes, free of charge in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław. There you can pick up the stick and check the length and the side.
