Choosing your size
Hockey glove size is given in inches; Junior versions come in smaller sizes than Senior.
It is best to try the gloves on with a stick in your hand: your fingers should not bend at the end of the glove, and the cuff should overlap the elbow pad so that no forearm is left exposed. Do not buy gloves to grow into — ones that are too big hold the stick less well.
Care and servicing
After training, lay the gloves open and dry them in an airy place, away from a radiator. Moisture trapped in a bag soon causes a smell and ruins the padding.
