Who it’s for

You skate on FR1, FR2 or FR3 and when replacing the frame one of the screws went missing or has a damaged socket.
You have older SEBA or FR Skates inline skates with an inch thread in the sole and metric screws do not fit them.

Your skates have a metric thread in the sole — an inch screw does not fit it; you will find the right one in the screws and sliders category.

Key features

Inch thread: Wider and thicker than in typical metric screws, so the frame is pressed more firmly against the sole. A metric replacement in this thread will be too small or too large.
3/16” hex socket: The head takes an inch hex key; the common 4 and 5 mm metric keys do not fit it. The right key with the red handle often comes with FR Skates inline skates.
Blue adhesive on the thread: The factory-applied threadlocker stops the screw from working loose through vibration as you skate — you do not need to glue the thread yourself.
Strong steel: A steel screw copes well with the loads the frame passes to the boot on pushes and landings.
Washer included: You get the screw together with a washer, so all you need for fitting is a key.

Care and servicing

Check the frame screws every few rides and tighten them with a 3/16” key with a light touch, so as not to damage the thread in the sole.

Questions and answers

Does this screw fit FR1, FR2 and FR3?

Yes. It is the original frame screw for these models, and for older FR Skates and SEBA inline skates that have a factory inch thread in the sole.

What key do I need?

A 3/16” hex key. Metric 4 and 5 mm keys do not fit. The original key with the red handle often comes with FR Skates inline skates, and if you do not have one, you can buy a 3/16” key from us.

Can I use an ordinary metric screw?

No. Metric screws in an inch thread are too small or too large and do not hold the frame securely.

Do I need to put adhesive on the thread?

No. The thread has blue threadlocker applied at the factory, which stops the screw from working loose as you skate.

Will you help with fitting the frame?

Yes. We will fit the frame with the new screws in our service workshop at the shop in Poznań or Wrocław.
