In brief

The FR Skates Speed Axle steel axle is a black, one-piece wheel axle 34.5 mm long. A one-piece axle screws straight into the thread of the frame, and steel withstands frequent undoing well. The length must match the frame, so before ordering measure your old axle with calipers or bring the skate to our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

Who it’s for

You are missing one axle in the frame, or one has a stripped thread and does not hold the wheel.
Your old axle is 34.5 mm long and you are looking for a steel replacement.
You change wheels often and prefer axles whose thread does not wear out after a few seasons.

When to choose something else

You need a 35.5 mm axle — that length is found on the Speed Axle X2 310.

Key features

Length 34.5 mm: An axle that is too short will not engage the whole thread in the frame, one that is too long will stick out — so you choose the length to suit the frame.
Steel: Stronger than aluminium; the thread better withstands unscrewing during wheel rotation and changes.
One-piece construction: You screw it from one side into the threaded hole of the frame, with no nut on the other side.

Questions and answers

How do I check whether the 34.5 mm axle fits my frame?

Measure your old axle with calipers and check whether it is one-piece too. A matching length is the first condition — we will compare the thread and diameter on the spot, in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

Can I return the axle if the dimension does not match?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return). The buyer covers the return shipping, and you order a different length separately.

Can I collect the order in person?

Yes, free of charge in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.
