The helmet shell is intact and sound, and you want to refresh its interior instead of buying a new helmet.
One of the factory pads is missing and the helmet has started to press or sit more loosely on your head.

Care and servicing

After a ride, leave the helmet to dry in an airy place, away from a radiator. When replacing the pads, remove the old ones completely so that the new ones hold well on the Velcro.
