After the first few rides, check the tightness of the screws and tighten them if there is any play, before the buckle starts to move in the hole.

Questions and answers

The old buckles are riveted. How do I take them off?

The rivets are drilled out with a metal drill bit about 5–6 mm in diameter; once the head is removed, the rest of the rivet falls out of the shell. If you are not experienced at this, have our service department do the replacement.

Do the new buckles have to be riveted too?

No. The kit includes mounting screws and washers, which you screw in place of the old rivets.
