Who it’s for

  • You train on warm days and any extra layer in the boot bothers you — here the knit is ultra-thin.
  • You skate in a snug-fitting boot and have no room in it for a thick sock.
  • You want socks in solid black, without coloured inserts.

When to choose something else

  • You skate on cool days and need a warmer, thicker sock — this model is ultra-thin and intended for warmer conditions.

Key features

Ultra-thin, ultralight knit
The sock takes up almost no room in the boot and does not trap heat during intensive training.
NATEX fibre
Light and elastic, it dries up to 50% faster than traditional nylon, so the sock gets rid of sweat faster during and after training.
ZERODOR
Yarn with silver ions limits the formation of odour, and the effect lasts after many washes.
COOL AIR FLOW
3D micro-channels ventilate the foot and keep it dry.
PRESHOCK SHIELD
The Achilles tendon protection cushions shocks where the back of the boot rests.
ERGOLOGIC FOOTBED and ZERO-STRANGLE-CUFF
The anatomical foot zone supports dynamic movements, and the cuff holds the sock on the leg without pressure.

Questions and answers

Are the Superleggera socks suitable for skating?

Yes, especially on warm days. They are ultra-thin, ventilated and protect the Achilles tendon, and the thin knit does not take up room in a snug boot.

How do they differ from the UYN Cycling Light?

In composition and set of technologies. The Superleggera is an ultra-thin model with NATEX fibre (50% polyamide, 27% polyester, 12% elastane, 11% polypropylene), while the Cycling Light have 79% polyamide, 14% polypropylene, 7% elastane and a two-layer compression bandage.

Does the cuff press on the calf?

No. The ZERO-STRANGLE-CUFF holds the sock on the leg without pressure or discomfort.

How quickly do they dry?

Up to 50% faster than socks made of traditional nylon — that is what NATEX fibre gives. ZERODOR yarn with silver ions additionally limits odour even after many washes.

Can I return the socks if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return); the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging a size means a return and a new order.
