In brief

Wizard Advanced 100/80 mm 344 mm frames are UFS frames for five wheels: the two outer ones are 100 mm and raised above the sole of the boot, the three middle ones are 80 mm. The large wheels lengthen the wheelbase for manuals, the small ones keep your foot low to the ground. The 344 mm length is matched to EU 41–44 shells. This is gear for experienced skaters training freestyle tricks.

Who it’s for

  • You already skate on Natural or Progressive rocker frames and want to go further in freestyle tricks on a flat surface.
  • You train manuals and need a longer wheelbase for balance than on a frame with wheels of one diameter.
  • You have a UFS boot with a flat sole and a high cuff, e.g. the Wizard Base High or a monolithic carbon shell such as the Seba CJ/SX, in EU size 41–44.

When to choose something else

  • You are just starting out or have not skated on a rocker yet — first get used to Natural Rocker geometry, e.g. on Wizard NR100 4 × 100 mm frames.
  • Your skates do not have a flat sole for UFS mounting or have a low cuff — at 344 mm you need the side support of a High-type boot.

Key features

100 mm wheels at the ends, 80 mm in the middle
The large outer wheels greatly lengthen the wheelbase for balance on manuals, and the small middle ones keep your foot close to the ground, which gives control on tricks.
Outer wheels above the sole line
Wheels 1 and 5 are raised higher than the boot sole, so the frame has a specific size: with a frame too small for the boot, the wheels hit the shell.
344 mm length for EU 41–44 shells
The 100/80 model is optimised for boots in this size range, so with such a boot the outer wheels do not clash with the shell.
UFS mounting
You bolt the frames to boots with a flat sole; they work best with the Wizard Base High and monolithic carbon boots, e.g. the Seba CJ/SX.
An even narrower specialisation than Progressive Rocker
The geometry demands great precision of movement, but lets you get the most out of freestyle tricks on a flat surface.

Care and servicing

When rotating, do not swap 100 mm wheels with 80 mm ones — each diameter has its own slots; turn a worn wheel over in the same place. Whenever you change wheels, check the tightness of the axles.

Questions and answers

Why do the Advanced frames need a specific boot size?

Because the outer 100 mm wheels are raised above the boot sole. With a frame too small for the boot, the wheels hit the shell, which is why the 100/80 model, 344 mm long, is intended for EU 41–44 shells.

How do the Advanced frames differ from Progressive Rocker (PR) frames?

In wheel diameters. PR frames have wheels of one diameter, e.g. 5 × 80 mm, while the Advanced combines 100 mm at the ends with 80 mm in the middle: a longer wheelbase for manuals with your foot low to the ground.

Which boots do these frames fit?

UFS boots with a flat sole and a high cuff. The Wizard Base High and monolithic carbon boots, e.g. the Seba CJ/SX, work best; at 344 mm the side support of a High-type boot is essential.

Are these frames for a beginner?

No. They demand precision of movement and familiarity with Natural or Progressive rocker. If you are only getting to know this geometry, start with Natural Rocker frames, e.g. the Wizard NR100.

Can I return the frames if they do not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return). The buyer covers the return shipping.
