In brief

Atom Skates Boom Road 125 mm X Firm are skate wheels with a diameter of 125 mm and a hardness marked X Firm. The large diameter means fast, smooth rolling on asphalt. The wheels only fit frames that take 125 mm, so before you buy, check the largest diameter allowed for your frame.

Diameter: 125 mm
Hardness: X Firm
Brand: Atom Skates
Model: Boom Road
Type: skate wheels

Who it’s for

You have skates with a frame for 125 mm wheels and are replacing worn wheels with new ones of the same diameter.
You are looking for large wheels for fast skating on smooth asphalt.
You want to choose spacers for the wheel cores straight away – you can order the core measurement together with the wheels.

When to choose something else

Your skates have a frame for smaller wheels, for example 80 mm or 90 mm – 125 mm wheels will not fit in it, see skate wheels.

Key features

125 mm diameter: A large wheel rolls faster and copes better with small bumps than an 80 mm wheel, but needs a frame that takes it.
X Firm hardness: The hardness designation of the compound given by the manufacturer. A harder wheel wears less and rolls faster on a smooth surface.
Spacer selection service: With the wheels you can order a core measurement and the selection of spacers, which eliminate play and noise while rolling.

Care and servicing

The wheels wear mainly on the inner edge. From time to time swap their positions and turn them round so that they wear evenly.

Questions and answers

Do 125 mm wheels fit every pair of skates?

No. They only fit skates whose frame takes 125 mm wheels. Check the largest diameter allowed for your frame before you order, and if in doubt, bring your skates to our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

What does X Firm mean?

It is a hardness designation given by the manufacturer instead of a number on the A scale. Do not convert it to 85A or 88A by eye – if in doubt, ask us in the shop.

Can you select spacers for these wheels?

Yes, as a separate service, “Skate wheel core measurement and spacer selection”: we measure the wheel core, select spacers and fit them into a set.

Can I return the wheels or collect them in person?

Yes. You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason, and the buyer covers the return shipping. You can also collect your order free of charge at our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.
