From skis to soft skates
K2 started in the 1960s on Vashon Island near Seattle with fibreglass skis. In 1993 it launched the Exotech skates and brought the soft boot to inline skating. K2 skates feel like a sports shoe, which is why so many beginners choose them.

Frequently asked questions
What is the softboot in K2 skates?
A soft, breathable boot with a stiff cuff and ankle support — comfortable from the first ride. K2 introduced it to inline skates in 1993.
Are K2 skates the same size as my shoes?
Usually, but sizing differs between models. Measure the length of your foot and compare it with the K2 size chart, or try the skates on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.
