In brief

FR Skates The Rec Street Wheels 58 mm / 88A is a set of 4 skate wheels made for urban and skatepark skating. The small diameter lowers the skate and makes control easier when doing tricks, and 88A hardness favours speed on smooth concrete and slower wear. Made of high-grade polyurethane by the French brand FR Skates.

Brand: FR Skates
Model: The Rec Street Wheels
Diameter: 58 mm
Hardness: 88A
Quantity: 4
Material: high-grade polyurethane

Who it’s for

You skate in a skatepark and need small, hard wheels for tricks.
You skate urban on a frame designed for 58 mm wheels and are replacing a worn set.
You care about a compound that lasts a long time on concrete and asphalt.

When to choose something else

You mostly skate longer routes around town – small wheels lose speed quickly, 80 mm wheels will be more comfortable.
Your frame is for larger wheels – the same model also comes in 62 mm and 65 mm diameters.

Key features

58 mm diameter: The smallest of the 58, 62 and 65 mm diameters: the skate is lower, reacts quickly and is easier to control when doing tricks.
88A hardness: Harder than a typical 85A: rolls faster on smooth concrete and wears more slowly, but damps vibration less well on rough asphalt.
High-grade polyurethane: The compound is meant to provide good ride characteristics and high abrasion resistance.
For urban and skatepark: One set for skating around town with tricks and for sessions on ramps.

Questions and answers

Will 58 mm wheels fit my skates?

Yes, if the frame on your skates is designed for wheels of this diameter. Check the print on your current wheels or come to our shop in Poznań or Wrocław with your skates.

How many wheels are in the set?

4 pieces. If you skate on four wheels per skate, you need two sets for a pair.

Is 88A suitable for asphalt?

Yes, best on smooth. A hard wheel rolls fast and wears slowly, but on a rough surface it transmits vibration more than 85A.

Does this model come in other diameters?

Yes. The Rec Street Wheels in 88A hardness also come in 62 mm and 65 mm diameters.

Can I return the wheels?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason. The buyer covers the return shipping.
