In brief

The Impala Protective Set pads in Barbie pink are a set of three pads for adults — for the knees, elbows and wrists — in a Barbie pink shade. Durable plastic caps protect against grazes, the lycra lining lets air through, and the velcro straps with elastic cuffs hold everything in place. For inline skates, roller skates, skateboards, scooters and ice skates.

Who it’s for

You are starting to skate on inline or roller skates and want to protect your knees, elbows and wrists straight away.
You ride several things — skates, a skateboard, a scooter — and prefer one set of pads for everything.
You want the pads to be a strong pink accent in your roller skating or inline skating outfit.

When to choose something else

You are buying for a child — see the Impala Kid's Protective Set kids' pads, Barbie pink.

Key features

Knees, elbows and wrists in one set: You buy the three kinds of pads together, in one colour, and do not have to choose them separately.
Durable plastic caps: The hard shell takes the impact and slides over the asphalt instead of tearing the skin in a fall.
Lycra lining: It lets air through, so you sweat less under the pads when skating hard.
Contoured knee pads, flexible elbow pads: The knee pads have an anatomical shape, and the elbow pads wrap around the arm like a sock — nothing twists when you bend your leg or arm.
Wrist guards with a splint and three straps: The splint limits bending of the hand when you put it out to break a fall, and three straps let you tighten the guard along its whole length.
Elastic cuffs: Together with the straps they keep the pads on the joints during a fall too.

Care and servicing

After skating, undo the velcro straps and dry the pads in a well-ventilated place, away from a radiator. Fasten the straps before putting the pads in a bag, so they do not pick up fibres.

Questions and answers

How do I choose the size of the pads?

By circumference, not height. Measure your knee circumference at the middle of the kneecap and your elbow with the arm slightly bent; if you fall between sizes, try both on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

Does this set fit a child?

No. The Protective Set is in adult sizing. For kids there is the Impala Kid's Protective Set with the same arrangement of pads, also in Barbie pink.

Is the set suitable for roller skates and a skateboard?

Yes. The pads are intended for inline skates, roller skates, skateboards, scooters and ice skates.

Can I exchange the size if it does not fit?

Yes, through a return and a new order. You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract, and the buyer covers the return shipping.
