In brief

The Lazer Maze KinetiCore matte lavender helmet is a skate-style urban helmet in Matte Violet Fog, a light violet broken with grey. KinetiCore EPS blocks protect against direct and rotational impacts (4 stars Virginia Tech), and you set the circumference with the TurnSys dial. Size M weighs 420 g; the helmet has an ASTM certificate and a place for glasses and a rear LED light.

Brand: Lazer
Model: Maze KinetiCore
Colour: matte lavender (Matte Violet Fog)
Protection technology: KinetiCore (EPS foam crumple zones), 4 stars in Virginia Tech tests
Ventilation: ventilated construction
Adjustment: TurnSys, single dial

Who it’s for

You ride around town on skates, a skateboard, a scooter or a bike and want one helmet for everything.
You care about protection in rotational impacts too, not just in a direct hit — that is what KinetiCore is for.
You wear glasses and need a helmet with a place for the arms.
You want colour instead of black, but nothing flashy — muted lavender is calm and matte.

When to choose something else

You prefer separate circumference and height adjustment and 16 vents — the Lazer One+ matte sky blue has those.
Your head circumference is below 50 cm or above 61 cm — this model does not cover that range, see other helmets.

Key features

KinetiCore — crumple zones in EPS foam: The foam blocks deform in a fall and absorb the energy of both direct and rotational impacts.
4 stars in Virginia Tech tests: The protection of this model was assessed by an independent laboratory, so you can compare the result with other helmets in the same ranking.
Single-dial TurnSys adjustment: You set the circumference in one movement, so fitting takes a moment and is easy to correct while riding.
Lowered protection line: The skate-style shell comes lower at the sides and back of the head, which the ASTM certificate confirms.
EcoLoc — joints without glue: The helmet parts are joined without glue, and the shell has no paint or stickers, which makes a worn-out helmet easier to recycle.
Space for glasses, an LED light and a winter kit: The glasses arms have their own place, you can mount a Lazer LED light on the back, and add a winter kit for the colder months.

Choosing your size

The Maze KinetiCore comes in two sizes: S–M for head circumference 50–56 cm and M–L for 55–61 cm. Measure your head with a tailor’s tape above the eyebrows and across the widest point at the back.

The ranges overlap: at a circumference of 55–56 cm try both sizes, ideally in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław. The TurnSys dial tightens the circumference, but the helmet should sit level and not slide onto your forehead when you nod.

Care and servicing

Clean the helmet with a damp cloth and mild soap, without solvents. After a hard impact, replace it with a new one, even if no damage is visible — crushed EPS foam will not protect a second time.

Questions and answers

Is the Lazer Maze KinetiCore helmet suitable for skating?

Yes. It is a skate-style helmet for urban riding on skates, a skateboard, a scooter and a bike, with a lowered protection line at the sides and back of the head.

Which helmet size should I choose?

Measure your head circumference: size S–M covers 50–56 cm, and M–L 55–61 cm. At 55–56 cm try both.

What does KinetiCore technology give?

Crumple zones made of EPS foam blocks, which absorb the energy of direct and rotational impacts. The model received 4 stars in independent Virginia Tech tests.

How does the Maze KinetiCore differ from the Lazer One+?

In protection technology and adjustment. The Maze has KinetiCore, the TurnSys dial and an ASTM certificate; the One+ is a Hardshell + In-Mold construction with 16 vents, Turnfit Plus circumference and height adjustment, and CE and CPSC certificates.

Can I return the helmet if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return). The buyer covers the return shipping, and exchanging a size means a return and a new order.
