Who it’s for

You ride around town on skates, a bike or a scooter and want one helmet for everything.
A heavy, poorly ventilated helmet tires you — this one weighs 260 g and has 23 vents.
You also ride after dark or in the colder months and want to add a rear LED light or a winter kit.
You prefer a dark, calm colour to a bright one — Dark Green bottle green goes with urban clothing.

When to choose something else

You play ice hockey or roller hockey — you need a hockey helmet for that.
Your head circumference is below 54 cm or above 61 cm — this model comes in only one size, see other helmets.

Key features

KinetiCore technology: Controlled crumple zones absorb the energy of direct and rotational impacts, that is, also in an angled fall, which is the easiest kind to have on skates.
4 stars in Virginia Tech tests: An independent laboratory rates helmets on a scale of up to 5 stars; the more stars, the lower the risk of head injury in a fall.
Advanced TurnSys adjustment: With one dial you set circumference and height, so the helmet sits stably and does not press.
Light, airy shell: At 260 g the helmet does not tire your neck on a longer route, and 23 vents air your head in the heat.
Space for an LED light and a winter kit: The Lazer LED rear light improves visibility after dark, and the warming lining from the winter kit lets you ride all year round; you choose both extras separately.
Less plastic: The construction contains 110 g less plastic than earlier models — a plus if you also look at raw material use when choosing gear.

Questions and answers

Is the Lazer Tempo KinetiCore helmet suitable for skating?

Yes. It is designed for skating, cycling, scooter riding and skateboarding; it has CE and CPSC certificates.

What head circumference does the universal size fit?

54–61 cm. Within that range you set circumference and height with the Advanced TurnSys dial; if your circumference is at the edge of the range, it is best to try the helmet on in the shop.

Can I mount a light and ride in it in winter?

Yes. The helmet is designed for mounting a Lazer LED rear light and a winter kit with a warming lining. Both extras are chosen separately.

How does the Dark Green version differ from the other colours?

Only in colour and finish — here it is bottle green with a subtle gloss. The construction, the 260 g weight and the 54–61 cm size are the same in all versions.

Can I return the helmet if it does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return). The buyer covers the return shipping.
