In brief
Luminous LED light-up wheels 62 mm / 85A in the Galaxy version are a set of 4 roller skate wheels with glitter embedded in the polyurethane. By day they sparkle in the sun, and after dark the dynamo-powered LEDs glow, with no batteries. One set covers one boot, so for a pair of roller skates you need two packs.

Who it’s for
- You ride recreational or dance roller skates and want wheels that sparkle with glitter by day and glow in the evening.
- You have figure roller skates or play outdoor roller derby and are looking for 62 mm wheels.
- You ride a cruiser or longboard and want wheels on it that glow as it moves.
When to choose something else
- Your roller skates have 7 mm axles — the included magnetic spacer is 8 mm, so you would then need suitable bearings or adapters.
Key features
- Glitter embedded in the polyurethane
- The wheels sparkle in the sun, so the effect is visible during the day, not just after dark.
- LEDs with a magnetic dynamo
- The light comes on as you skate, with no batteries and no charging.
- Hardness 85A
- A hybrid hardness for outdoor skating: it absorbs vibration on asphalt, and on smooth surfaces does not grip the ground excessively.
- 62 mm diameter
- A popular size in recreational and dance roller skates; it gives stability and a pleasant speed in urban skating.
- A set for one boot
- For a pair of roller skates you take two packs, or combine Galaxy with wheels in another colour.

Questions and answers
Is one set enough for a pair of roller skates?
No. The set has 4 wheels, which is as many as one boot takes. For a pair of roller skates (8 wheels) order two packs or combine Galaxy with wheels in another colour.
Do the wheels glow without batteries?
Yes. The LEDs are powered by a magnetic dynamo, so they glow while you skate. By day the wheels sparkle with the glitter embedded in the polyurethane.
Do they fit 8 mm and 7 mm axles?
8 mm axles, yes, for example in Moxi and Chaya roller skates, because the included magnetic spacer is 8 mm. For 7 mm axles you need suitable bearings or adapters.
Which roller skates do 62 mm wheels fit?
Recreational and figure roller skates and outdoor roller derby ones. You can also fit them to a cruiser or longboard.
