Who it’s for

You ride in a skatepark or aggressively around town and want a helmet with a classic, rounded shape.
You are learning tricks and prefer a hard ABS shell to a slim cycling helmet.
Your head circumference is between 53 and 59 cm.

When to choose something else

Your head circumference is below 53 cm — the SFR Essentials helmet comes in size XXS/XS for 49–52 cm.
Your head circumference is above 59 cm — the Seba Water Sports helmet goes up to 66 cm.

Key features

ABS shell and EPS foam core: The hard shell takes the impact and the slide over the ground, and the foam beneath it absorbs the energy of the fall.
13 vents: Air flows over your head, so the helmet is less hot as you ride.
Double insert: Helps fit the helmet to your head and makes it more comfortable to wear.
Antibacterial padding: Limits the growth of bacteria, so it is easier to keep the helmet hygienic with regular riding.
Nylon straps: Hold the helmet steady on your head, also in a fall.
EN 1078 standard: The European standard for cycling, skateboarding and inline skating helmets.

Choosing your size

The Elite 2.0 comes in two sizes: S/M for a head circumference of 53–56 cm and L/XL for 57–59 cm. Measure your head with a tape measure above your eyebrows and at the widest point at the back. You choose the size of this colour version when you place your order.

The double insert gives a more precise fit. If your circumference falls on the border between sizes (56–57 cm), try both on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław. The helmet should sit level and not move when you nod your head.

Care and servicing

Wipe the shell with a damp cloth, without solvents, and leave the helmet to dry after riding. After a hard impact, replace it with a new one, even if you cannot see any damage.

Questions and answers

Which size of the REKD Elite 2.0 helmet should I choose?

S/M for a head circumference of 53–56 cm, L/XL for 57–59 cm. Measure your head above your eyebrows and at the widest point at the back.

Does the helmet meet a safety standard?

Yes, it meets the EN 1078 standard — the European standard for cycling, skateboarding and inline skating helmets.

How much does the helmet weigh?

410 g in size S/M and 430 g in size L/XL.

Is a skate-style helmet suitable for ordinary inline skating around town?

Yes. The shape is associated with the skatepark, but the helmet protects your head just as well when riding recreationally around town.

Can I return the helmet if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return). The buyer covers the return shipping, and exchanging a size means a return and a new order.
