In brief

The Rollerblade Hydrogen Bogdanca 80 mm / 85A is a set of 8 wheels for four-wheel skates, made from the same polyurethane compound as standard Hydrogens, with the Bogdanca logo. Resilient High Rebound polyurethane made in the USA, a rounded urban profile and a reinforced core. For urban skating, freeskate, slalom and fitness. Bearings and spacers are not included.

Diameter: 80 mm
Hardness: 85A
Quantity: 8 (a set for a pair of four-wheel skates)
Material: High Rebound polyurethane
Profile: rounded, urban
Intended use: urban skating, freeskate, slalom, fitness

Who it’s for

The factory wheels on your skates are worn down or coned and you want to replace the whole set at once.
You skate around the city, freeskate or slalom and are looking for a hardness that grips on asphalt and doesn't wear quickly.
You have four-wheel skates with 80 mm wheels and want to move your bearings into new wheels.

When to choose something else

Your frame takes 76 mm at most (some kids' and recreational skates) — check the print on your old wheels and choose 76 mm wheels.

Key features

High Rebound polyurethane: The resilient compound returns the energy of your push, so the wheel holds its speed for longer while wearing slowly.
85A hardness: A versatile hardness for asphalt and paving: it gives grip in corners and reasonable tread life.
Rounded urban profile: It gives stability on the straight and lets you lean the skate confidently into a corner, even on smooth urban surfaces.
Reinforced core: It withstands side loads and hard landings after jumps.
Centred bearing seats: The bearings sit on the axis, so the wheel turns evenly, without wobble.
Bogdanca logo version: It differs from standard Hydrogen wheels only in the print; the polyurethane compound is the same.

Care and servicing

Wheels wear mainly on the inner edge. From time to time swap their positions and turn them around to the other side so they wear evenly.

Questions and answers

Are 8 wheels enough for a pair of skates?

Yes. 8 pieces is a set for a pair of four-wheel skates — four wheels per skate.

Are bearings and spacers included?

No. The set is just 8 wheels. You move the bearings and spacers over from your old wheels or choose them separately.

Will these wheels fit my skates?

Yes, if you have four-wheel skates whose frame takes 80 mm wheels. If your old wheels are printed 80 mm, the swap is direct; with smaller ones, first check the largest diameter allowed for your frame.

How do they differ from regular Hydrogen wheels?

Only in the print. It is the same polyurethane compound as in standard Hydrogen wheels, in a version with the Bogdanca logo.

Can you match spacers to these wheels?

Yes, as part of a separate service, “Measuring wheel cores and matching spacers”. Measuring with spacers for 8 wheels costs PLN 90.
