In brief

The Rollerblade REVV BOA boots are skate boots with a carbon shell, a liner with a ventilated insole and the BOA Fit System instead of laces. They combine the comfort of recreational skates with the performance needed in marathons, half marathons and races. They take Rival frames 3×125, 4×110 and 4×100 mm or a 195 mm frame. The offer covers the boots only, without frame and wheels.

Who it’s for

  • You skate long distances or enter marathons and half marathons, and comfort over the whole route matters to you.
  • You are moving from recreational skates to faster gear and want to keep a cuff with a buckle that stabilises your leg.
  • You build your set yourself and choose a 3×125, 4×110 or 4×100 mm frame to suit your routes.

When to choose something else

  • You are looking for complete skates — there is no frame or wheels here; ready-made models are in the speed skates category.
  • You skate mostly in town, with jumps and sharp turns — urban and freeskate skates will suit you better.

Key features

Carbon shell
Stiff and light, so the force of your push goes to the wheels and your foot doesn't carry unnecessary weight over a long distance.
BOA Fit System instead of laces
You push in the dial and tighten to the tension you want; if it is too tight, you release it with the dial. You put the boot on and take it off in a moment.
Cuff with a buckle
It additionally holds and stabilises your leg around the cuff, which helps when fatigue sets in at the end of the route.
Rapture3D tongue
It stabilises your foot and spreads the pressure of the closure, so it does not press on the instep.
Liner with a ventilated insole
Anatomical fit and airflow limit overheating of your foot on long routes.
Footboard Sizer insoles
They adjust the fit of the boot when your foot falls between sizes.

Care and servicing

After skating, loosen the BOA and leave the boots to dry in a ventilated place, away from a radiator. Keep the dial and the cable clean — sand makes tightening harder.

Questions and answers

Are a frame and wheels included?

No. These are the REVV BOA boots only; you choose the frame, wheels and bearings separately.

Which frames fit the REVV BOA?

Rival frames in 3×125, 4×110 and 4×100 mm layouts or a 195 mm frame. If you already have a frame from another brand, we will check the fit in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

How does the BOA closure work?

You push the dial in and turn it until the boot holds the way you want. You release too much tension by turning it the other way, and to take the boot off it is enough to loosen the dial.

Is the REVV BOA suitable for relaxed, recreational skating?

Yes. It is a hybrid of recreational and speed skates: it has a cuff with a buckle and a comfortable liner, while the carbon shell gives the stiffness of sports gear.

What should I do if I fall between sizes?

Use the Footboard Sizer insoles from the set — they are for adjusting the fit when your foot doesn't fit neatly into the size chart.
