In brief

Rollerblade Wheel Axles Fury/Thndr are nine two-piece aluminium axles, 6 mm in diameter — eight standard ones 34 mm long and one longer one for the wheel with the brake. They fit the Rollerblade Thunder and Alpha skates and other models with 6 mm axles. With this set you replace all the axles in a pair of four-wheel skates.

Brand: Rollerblade

Material: aluminium

Who it’s for

You skate on the Rollerblade Thunder or Alpha and the axles have worn Allen key sockets or a stripped thread.
You are changing the wheels and want to fit new axles at the same time, including the one for the wheel with the brake.
One axle went missing and you prefer an original set to hunting for a single 6 mm piece.

When to choose something else

Your skates have 8 mm axles and a Rollerblade aluminium frame — reach for the 2.0 Alu Frames set.

Key features

6 mm diameter: A thinner axle than the popular 8 mm, so it fits only where 6 mm axles are fitted at the factory — measure your old axle before ordering.
Two-piece system: axle + bolt: You remove and fit the wheels just as with the factory axles, and the connection holds them steady in the frame.
Longer brake axle: An axle matched to the rear part of the frame with the brake, so you also replace the one that holds the wheel under the brake.
Aluminium: Light, durable axles that do not rust after riding in the rain.
Original Rollerblade part: The dimensions match the factory axles in the Thunder and Alpha models.

Care and servicing

Check the tightness of the axles at every wheel rotation and tighten them with care. A thin aluminium thread is easy to strip, and play wears out the holes in the frame.

Questions and answers

Does this set fit the Rollerblade Thunder and Alpha?

Yes. These are original Rollerblade axles for those models: 6 mm in diameter, standard length 34 mm.

Do they fit skates with 8 mm axles?

No. A 6 mm axle is too thin for holes in the frame prepared for 8 mm. For Rollerblade aluminium frames with 8 mm axles there is the 2.0 Alu Frames set.

What is the ninth, longer axle for?

For the wheel with the brake. It replaces an ordinary axle in the rear part of the frame to which the brake is fixed.

How do I check whether they fit skates other than the Thunder and Alpha?

Measure your old axle: a diameter of 6 mm and a length of 34 mm mean the set fits. You can also bring the skate to our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.
