In brief
Bladerunner Igniter Ice black/grey ice skates are a men’s recreational model with a hockey-style construction, intended for beginners and intermediate skaters. The stable boot makes learning easier, the velour lining warms the foot and the hockey blades are made of stainless steel. You choose the size by foot length in centimetres (mondopoint). The skates are not sharpened at the factory — take them for sharpening before you first go on the ice.

- You prefer a muted black and grey colour scheme to bright accents.
When to choose something else
- You train hockey — for playing you need hockey skates, and this model is for recreation.
- You are looking for a boot with stronger insulation — Igniter XT Ice has a Thinsulate layer.
Key features
- Hockey-style construction
- The cut of the boot and the hockey-shaped blade give confident handling and easy turns in ordinary skating around the rink.
- Stainless steel hockey blades
- They stay sharp for a long time and resist corrosion, so they also cope with the damp of an outdoor rink.
- Velour lining
- Soft to the touch, it keeps the warmth in and wicks moisture away while you skate.
- A stable boot to start with
- It holds your foot securely, which makes your first steps on the ice easier and is still enough once you skate freely.

Care and servicing
After skating, dry the blades and leave the boots unlaced so the inside can dry. We can do the sharpening in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.
Questions and answers
Are the skates ready to use straight out of the box?
No. New skates are not sharpened at the factory and must be taken for sharpening before the first skate. We can do it in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław, and you will also find the service in the service section.
Are Igniter Ice suitable for beginners?
Yes. This is a recreational model for beginners and intermediate skaters: stable, comfortable and easy to control.
How do I choose the size?
By foot length in centimetres. The insole length should be close to your foot length, and the starting point is your sports shoe size.
How do Igniter Ice differ from Igniter XT Ice?
The insulation. Igniter Ice has a velour lining, while Igniter XT Ice has Thinsulate insulation.
Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?
Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return). The buyer covers the return shipping, and a size exchange means a return and a new order.
