In brief
Bladerunner Igniter XT Ice W black/green ice skates are women’s recreational skates for people who are learning to skate or returning to the ice after a break. The boot is comfortable from the first wear, and the Thinsulate insulation with synthetic fur shields the foot from the cold. You can skate in them on a rink and on natural ice, if it is thick enough. Take the skates for sharpening before the first skate.

Who it’s for
- You are returning to skating after several years and want a boot that fits well straight away.
- You are learning to skate and prefer to practise in warm skates of your own.
- In winter you also skate in the open air, so insulation matters to you.
When to choose something else
- You train figure skating — see figure skates.
- You mostly skate in a heated hall and do not need insulation — Igniter Ice W has lighter insulation, with a velour lining.
Key features
- Thinsulate insulation and synthetic fur
- Two layers of insulation keep the warmth in while you skate in the cold.
- Comfort from the first wear
- The boot does not need breaking in, so you do not waste your first outings on the ice wearing the skates in.
- A model for learning and returning to the ice
- The recreational character of the boot is forgiving of technique mistakes and does not tire your foot like stiff sport skates.
- For the rink and natural ice
- You can also skate on a frozen lake, provided the ice is thick enough and safe.

Care and servicing
After skating, dry the blades and leave the boots unlaced so the insulation can dry. We can do the sharpening in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.
