In brief

CCM Tacks AS-580 SR WID are hockey skates in the senior category, in the WID cut for a wide foot. You choose them when, in skates of standard width, the sides of your foot feel pinched and you feel pressure on the forefoot. The same model in the standard cut is the AS-580 SR REG. You can try them on in Poznań and Wrocław.

Who it’s for

You are an adult player and feel pressure on the sides of your foot in skates of standard width.
You have a wide foot and are looking for CCM hockey skates from the Tacks series in senior sizes.
You prefer to check the fit before buying — in Poznań and Wrocław you can try the skates on in the shop.

When to choose something else

You have a standard-width foot — see AS-580 SR REG.
You are buying for a younger player — see AS-580 INT REG or AS-580 JR REG.

Key features

SR (senior) category: Sizes and cuts for adult players, the highest age category in hockey skates.
WID fit: The version for a wide foot: more room at the sides and across the forefoot than in the standard REG cut.
Hockey skate construction: The boot supports the ankle, and the blade is chosen for the starts, turns and stops that the game demands.

Care and servicing

After skating, dry the blades and let the boot dry so that the steel does not rust and the inside does not pick up odours. We sharpen blades in our shops in Poznań and Wrocław.

Questions and answers

What do the abbreviations SR and WID in the name mean?

SR is senior, the category for adults. WID is the fit for a wide foot, and REG means a standard-width foot.

How does the AS-580 SR WID differ from the SR REG?

In the fit. WID is for a wider foot, and REG for a standard one. The age category and the model are the same.

How do I choose the size of these skates?

Measure your foot in centimetres and compare it with the length given for each size. Hockey skates have their own scale, so do not carry over the number of your everyday shoes one to one; if in doubt, try them on in the shop.

Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason, and the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging a size means a return and a new order.

Can I collect my order in person?

Yes, free of charge in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław. In the shop you can also try the skates on before buying.
