In brief

CCM Tacks AS-580 YTH REG hockey skates are a model for the youngest hockey players. YTH (youth) is the smallest of the age categories, and REG means the fit for a standard-width foot. Before choosing a size, measure your child's foot and try the skates on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

Who it’s for

  • Your child is starting to play hockey and needs skates in the smallest age category, YTH.
  • Your child's foot has a standard width, so the REG version is the right starting point.
  • You want your child to try the skates on in the shop before you decide to buy.

When to choose something else

Key features

YTH (youth) category

Hockey skate construction
The boot supports the ankle, and the blade is chosen for the starts, turns and stops that the game demands.

Care and servicing

After skating, dry the blades and let the boot dry so that the steel does not rust and the inside does not pick up odours. We sharpen blades in our shops in Poznań and Wrocław.

Questions and answers

What do the abbreviations YTH and REG in the name mean?

YTH is youth, the youngest age category in hockey skates. REG is the fit for a standard-width foot.

How does the AS-580 YTH REG differ from the JR REG version?

In the age category, that is, the size range. YTH is for the smallest feet, JR for older children and young people. The Tacks AS-580 model and the REG fit are the same.

How do I choose the size of skates for my child?

Measure your child's foot in centimetres and compare it with the length given for each size. Do not buy to grow into, because a boot that is too big does not hold the ankle; if in doubt, try the skates on in the shop.

Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason, and the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging a size means a return and a new order.

Can I collect my order in person?

Yes, free of charge in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław. In the shop you can also try the skates on before buying.
