In brief

CCM Tacks XF90 SR WID are senior hockey skates from the Tacks line, in the WID fit for a wide foot. Senior sizing covers adult foot sizes, above the Junior and Intermediate categories. If you are unsure between the WID and REG widths, compare them at a fitting in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław; collection in person is free there.

Who it’s for

  • You have an adult foot size and play hockey, so you need skates from Senior sizing.
  • Your foot is wide and in REG skates you feel pressure at the sides — WID has a wider cut of the boot.
  • You prefer to choose the width on the spot — you can try the skates on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

Choosing your size

Hockey skates have their own size scale, so do not carry over the number of your everyday shoes one to one. Measure your foot from the heel to the end of the longest toe and compare the result with the length in millimetres given for each size.

WID is the fit for a wide foot. If your foot slides sideways in the wide boot, you need the REG version; the surest way to choose the size and width is at a fitting in the shop.

Care and servicing

After skating, dry the blades and let the boot dry so that the steel does not rust and the inside does not pick up odours. We can sharpen the blades in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.

Questions and answers

What do the abbreviations SR and WID in the name mean?

SR is Senior sizing, the highest after Junior and Intermediate. WID is the fit for a wide foot; the REG version is intended for a standard-width foot.

How do I choose the size of these skates?

Measure your foot in millimetres and compare it with the length given for each size. The number of your everyday shoes is only an approximate guide to the size, so if in doubt, try the skates on in the shop.

Can I return the skates if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason, and the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging a size means a return and a new order.

Can I collect my order in person?

Yes, free of charge in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław. On the spot you can also try the skates on before buying.
