In brief

FR Downtown Emperor 100 mm / 85A green is a set of 4 wheels with an elliptical profile and a strong 5-spoke core, created with Florian Petitcollin, a French specialist in urban skating and skate-cross. They are for intermediate and advanced skaters who need stability in turns at high speeds. You buy the recommended 10.17 mm spacers separately.

Diameter: 100 mm
Hardness: 85A
Quantity: 4 (set for one skate)
Profile: elliptical
Core: strong, 5-spoke
Use: urban skating, fast skating, downhill, skate-cross, freeride, free jump

Who it’s for

You skate fast around town and need wheels that hold in turns at high speeds.
You skate skate-cross, freeride or free jump and want wheels resistant to abrasion and heavy loads.
You have skates with a frame for 100 mm wheels and are looking for green ones to make your equipment stand out from the rest.

When to choose something else

Your frame does not take 100 mm wheels – check the largest permitted diameter and choose smaller skate wheels.
You are only just learning to skate – these wheels are intended for intermediate and advanced skaters.

Key features

Elliptical profile: A narrower contact patch with the ground gives lower rolling resistance and confident handling at high speed.
Strong 5-spoke core: Withstands side loads in turns and landings after jumps.
85A hardness: All-round hardness: gives grip in turns and reasonable durability on asphalt.
100 mm diameter: A large wheel rolls more smoothly and holds speed for longer, at the cost of a little manoeuvrability.
Florian Petitcollin pro model: The wheels were developed with the French specialist in urban skating, skate-cross, freeskating and free jump.

Care and servicing

The wheels wear mainly on the inner edge. From time to time swap their positions and turn them round so that they wear evenly.

Questions and answers

Are spacers included?

No. The set contains 4 wheels, and the recommended spacers are 10.17 mm and are bought separately. We can also measure the wheel cores and select spacers as part of the “Skate wheel core measurement and spacer selection” service.

Will 100 mm wheels fit my skates?

Yes, if the frame on your skates takes wheels with a 100 mm diameter. You can check the largest permitted diameter in your skates’ specification or on the print on the old wheels. If in doubt, come to our shop in Poznań or Wrocław with your skates.

What level are these wheels for?

For intermediate and advanced skaters who value stability and grip in turns at high speed.

What does 85A hardness mean?

It is an all-round polyurethane hardness: the wheel grips on asphalt and paving stones, yet does not wear quickly. The higher the number, the harder the wheel.

Can I return the wheels?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return) without giving a reason. The buyer covers the return shipping.
