Who it’s for

You ride around town on skates, a bike, a scooter or a skateboard and want a helmet that also protects in rotational impacts.
You wear glasses — the shape of the shell was designed with comfortable riding in glasses in mind.
You have a larger head: size XL covers a circumference of 61–64 cm.
You are looking for something between black and a light colour: Titanium is a dark grey with a metallic gloss.

When to choose something else

You ride mainly off-road and want a helmet with a visor — see the Lazer Chiru.
You play hockey — for the ice and the court you need a hockey helmet.

Key features

KinetiCore technology, 4 stars Virginia Tech: The system protects the head in direct and rotational impacts, that is, also when you fall at an angle and the head is given a rotation. In Virginia Tech safety tests the helmet received 4 stars.
Advanced TurnSys: You set the circumference with one dial, and you also fit the cradle vertically, so the helmet sits to the shape of the head.
28 vents and 230 g in size M: Plenty of airflow and little weight: your head does not overheat and your neck does not tire on a longer route.
Space for a rear LED light and a winter kit: With a light you are more visible after dark, and a winter kit lets you ride in the same helmet in the colder months.
Shell comfortable with glasses: The shape of the helmet takes glasses into account, so you do not have to choose between eye protection and comfort.
Less plastic: The helmet’s construction uses less plastic — this matters if you pay attention to what your gear is made from.

Questions and answers

Is the Lazer Tonic KinetiCore helmet suitable for skating?

Yes. It is designed for cycling, skating, scooter riding and skateboarding, and has CE, CPSC and ASTM certificates.

Which helmet size should I choose?

Measure your head circumference: S is 52–56 cm, M 55–59 cm, L 58–61 cm, XL 61–64 cm. If you fall between two sizes, try both.

How does the Tonic KinetiCore differ from the regular Tonic?

In protection technology, certificates and sizes. KinetiCore also protects in rotational impacts, has CE, CPSC and ASTM certificates and comes in size XL; the Tonic is an In-Mold construction with a CE certificate in sizes S–L. The weight and the number of vents are the same.

What do the 4 Virginia Tech stars mean?

4 stars is the result in helmet safety tests run by the American university Virginia Tech. More stars mean better protection in an impact.

Can I return the helmet if the size does not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return). The buyer covers the return shipping, and exchanging a size means a return and a new order.
