Wheels: Performance 90 mm
Bearings: SG5
Frame: aluminium
Boot: composite shell, high cuff, anatomical ventilated liner
Fastening: BOA system: steel cable and dial
Brake: included, removable

Who it’s for

You are starting to skate and want women's skates with a high cuff that supports the ankle.
You skate recreationally or train your fitness and do not want to tie laces before every ride.
You value being able to take the skates off quickly and adjust the fit with a single dial.

When to choose something else

You want manoeuvrable skates for the city and for playing with kerbs — see urban and freeskate skates.
You plan skatepark and tricks — choose aggressive skates.

Key features

Composite shell and high cuff: They support the foot and ankle, which gives confidence when you are learning and less fatigue on a longer route.
BOA system: A steel cable tightened with a dial replaces the laces. You can change the fit in both directions, and you take the skates off quickly.
Performance 90 mm wheels: The large diameter rolls further on one push than smaller wheels, so it works well on longer, smooth routes.
Anatomical ventilated liner: The inner boot is contoured to the foot, and ventilation limits overheating on longer rides.
Aluminium frame: A stiff frame passes the push-off to the wheels without flexing and keeps the axles in line.
Brake included: At first you brake with your heel, and once you have mastered other braking techniques, you can remove it.

Care and servicing

Every few dozen hours of skating, swap the wheels around, because they wear unevenly. After skating in the rain, dry the skates and take the liner out so that it dries.

Questions and answers

Is the Macroblade 90 Boa W suitable for a beginner?

Yes. The high cuff and the shell support the ankle, and the brake is included, so you can start learning straight away.

What does the W in the name mean?

It is the women's version of the Macroblade 90 Boa model, with Performance 90 mm wheels, SG5 bearings, an aluminium frame and BOA fastening.

How does the BOA system work and how does it differ from laces?

Instead of laces you have a steel cable tightened with a dial. You loosen it by turning the dial the other way, and you take the skates off faster than laced ones.

Is the brake included?

Yes, as standard. You can remove it once you brake using another technique.

What should I do if the size does not fit?

You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract (return), and the buyer covers the return shipping. Exchanging a size means a return and a new order. You can also try the skates on in our shop in Poznań or Wrocław.
