When to choose something else

Adult skates usually have 8 mm axles — for models such as the Twister or Metroblade see the Racing Axles.

6 mm diameter: Thinner than the typical 8 mm axles on adult skates, and matched to the frames of the kids' models listed — do not swap them for 8 mm axles.
Two-piece wheel axles: An axle on one side, a bolt on the other — once screwed together the wheel holds firmly, and undoing them when changing wheels is quick.
Longer brake axle: The brake has a separate, longer axle, so the set covers the fixing of all the wheels and the brake.

At every wheel change check both halves of the axles and tighten them with care — an aluminium thread is easy to strip.

Which skates do these axles fit?

The Rollerblade Microblade, Microblade 3WD ALU, Spitfire and Comet. They are 6 mm in diameter, so they will not replace the 8 mm axles in adult skates.

What key do I need?

A 4 mm Allen key. You can do the replacement at home, and if you prefer, we will do it in our service in the shop in Poznań or Wrocław.
