In brief

Rollerblade Twincam ILQ-9 Pro orange skate bearings are 16 pieces in size 608. Each has 6 chrome steel balls, larger than in the seven-ball bearings, SCRS rubber shields and nylon cages. Lubricated with TK Racing Gel from the USA. They give the most in speed skates and freestyle slalom skates.

Who it’s for

  • You ride speed skates and care about bearings that keep the rolling as smooth as possible.
  • You train freestyle slalom and want the wheels to work evenly in tight sequences too.
  • You are looking for bearings with rubber shields that keep water, dust and dirt away from the balls.

When to choose something else

  • You skate recreationally and do not need sport bearings — the Twincam ILQ-7 Plus will be the versatile choice.

Key features

6 larger chrome steel balls
Larger balls leave less empty space inside the bearing, which improves its operation and reduces failures.
SCRS rubber shields
Together with the nylon cages they protect the inside of the bearing from water, dust and dirt.
TK Racing Gel from the USA
The bearings are lubricated with gel, so once pressed into the wheels they are ready to skate straight away.
608 size
The skate standard: 8 mm axle bore, so the bearings fit typical speed and slalom wheels.
Set of 16
Two bearings for each of the eight wheels of a pair of four-wheel skates.

Care and servicing

After skating in the rain, take the bearings out of the wheels and dry them the same day. When they start to hum or slow down, take them for cleaning and lubrication to the service in Poznań or Wrocław.

Questions and answers

How do they differ from the Twincam ILQ-7 Plus?

The ILQ-9 Pro have 6 larger balls instead of 7, SCRS rubber shields and TK Racing Gel instead of Kyodo grease. It is a set for speed skating and slalom; the ILQ-7 Plus are bearings for every type of skate.

Do these bearings fit my skates?

Yes, if your wheels take 608 bearings for an 8 mm axle — that is the standard in most skates. You will gain the most in speed and slalom skates.

How many wheels is this set enough for?

Eight. Two bearings work in each wheel, so 16 pieces is a set for a pair of four-wheel skates.

Can you select spacers for my wheels?

Yes, as a separate service, “Wheel core measurement and spacer selection”, which you choose when ordering.

Can I return the bearings if they do not fit?

Yes, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract. The buyer covers the return shipping.
