Care and servicing

Rinse dust and sand off with lukewarm water first, then dry the lens with a microfibre cloth — wiping it dry scratches the mirror coating. Put the sunglasses in your bag in a case or pouch.

Questions and answers

Will an S3 lens work on a cloudy day?

Probably not. S3 lets through 14% of light and is meant for strong sun — in shade, in the forest and at dusk the image will be too dark.

Do the sunglasses fog up when I stop?

For up to 120 seconds the lens stays clear thanks to the supravision coating. That is enough for a typical stop at traffic lights after a faster stretch.

Are these sports or fashion sunglasses?

Sports ones. They have a category S3 filter, UV400 protection and an anti-fog coating, and the marbled grey frame lets you wear them away from training too.
