Care and servicing

Rinse off sand and dust with lukewarm water first, then dry the lens with a soft microfibre cloth — wiping it dry and using a paper towel will scratch the mirror coating. Carry the sunglasses in a case or pouch.

Questions and answers

What are the holes at the sides of the lens for?

Ventilation. They keep air circulating behind the lens even when you are standing still, so the lens fogs more slowly and your eyes do not sting from heated air.

How does the Mirror Silver version differ from the Mirror Blue?

In how dark the lens is. Mirror Silver lets through 14% of light, Mirror Blue 11% — both are category S3. The silver dims colours less, while the blue is better in the harshest sun.

Will the sunglasses fog up at stops?

For 120 seconds the lens is protected from fogging by the supravision coating, and the side vents keep air circulating behind the lens.

How do the Skyryse differ from the Flowline?

In construction. The Skyryse have a wide cylindrical lens with side vents. The Flowline is a half-frame without a lower frame edge, with an unobstructed view down onto the surface.
